Watermelon consumption Overcome Hypertension

Eating watermelon on a regular basis is known to lower blood pressure and prevent blood pressure rising again which can cause heart attacks.

Research from Florida found that the amino acid L-arginine and L-citrilline contained in watermelon fruit can increase the performance of the artery or arteries and lowering blood pressure in nine points associated with prehypertension orĀ  where the blood pressure again rose that increase the risk of heart attack .

But foods containing essential amino acids, which are believed to maintain blood pressure, is not an option for all adults with hypertension. The reason, the side effects of these foods can cause abdominal pain, at first, and diarrhea.

As reported by the Telegraph, Friday (10/15/2010), this study also found that watermelon contains not only amino acids that are good for heart health, but the fruit is also rich in vitamins A, B6 and C and high in fiber.

  1. Nature provides such amazing resources for our bodies to use. My grandmother suffered 5 heart attacks, but often consumed watermelons in hopes of regulating her blood pressure. Just make sure to include other healthy things in your diet because eating a lot of one super food will not counteract the rest of your diet.
